Mau funcionamento e rede coletora mal dimensionada. Em 2014 não cumpriu relativamente aos parâmetros CBO5 e CQO. Em 2016 não cumpriu relativamente ao parâmetro CBO5.
Measure(s) to reach the compliance needed for UWWTP: 
Remodelação da ETAR. No entanto, esta obra que não se repercutiu logo no cumprimento porque a rede de coletores a montante só entrou em funcionamento no início de 2016, após remodelação. Decorreram, até ao último trimestre de 2016, ajustes técnicos no processo de tratamento, que recebe afluente doméstico e industrial. Estão previstas mais intervenções na ETAR de forma a colocar a linha de tratamento terciário em funcionamento, aumentando assim a eficiência de tratamento da ETAR.
